Jump in, get muddy, and go for it!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Scouts are spirited, curious, and ready for adventure. They:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Learn new skills and explore new experiences<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Form lasting friendships<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Have fun through local and international adventures<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Discover the world around them<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Give back and make a difference in their communities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    They meet regularly in Scout Troops<\/strong>, coming together week after week to make big changes\u2014even with small steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    What Do Scouts Do?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Discover the world<\/strong>
    Scouts chart their own course\u2014learning practical skills and embracing challenges they won\u2019t encounter at home or school, all under the guidance of trained volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Start small, think big<\/strong>
    Every small act counts. Scouts build connections, stretch boundaries, and contribute to a legacy of positive impact in their local area and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Say \u201cyes\u201d to new things<\/strong>
    Scouts are open-minded explorers\u2014whether it’s their first camp, writing code, or enjoying toasted marshmallows around a fire, they lean into new opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Leadership & Team Structure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Scout Troops are led by trained adult volunteers<\/strong>, who are there to guide and support\u2014always using their real names, not nicknames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Within each Troop, Scouts are organized into Patrols<\/strong>\u2014small teams where members support each other during meetings, trips, and activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Promise & Ceremonies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Every Scout makes a Promise<\/strong>\u2014a commitment to the values shared within the group. After a few weeks of settling in, new members are invested<\/strong> through a small ceremony, often held in their usual meeting place\u2014or somewhere memorable like a camp or a mountaintop, if they wish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. A Scout is loyal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. A Scout is friendly and considerate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. A Scout belongs to the worldwide family of Scouts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. A Scout has courage in all difficulties.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. A Scout makes good use of time and is careful of possessions and property.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. A Scout has self-respect and respect for others.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Uniform<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      The Scout Uniform consists of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Scout Shirt \/ Blouse<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Scarf<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Scouts are expected to look after their uniform by keeping them clean, ironed and badges sewn on in the correct locations and aligned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
