Beavers is for young people aged 6 \u2013 8<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Where big adventures begin!<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Beavers (ages 6 to 8) explore, grow, and make friends through new experiences. They:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Learn new skills and try exciting activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Have fun and go on adventures<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Make friends and discover the world around them<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Help others\u2014in their local communities and beyond<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    What Do Beavers Do?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Have outdoor fun<\/strong>
    With their Colony, Beavers might build dens, visit the seaside, or enjoy sleepovers under the stars. These young explorers make the most of their local surroundings, wherever they are. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Try, learn, and grow<\/strong>
    Instead of books, Beavers learn through hands-on play and exploration. They develop \u201ccharacter skills\u201d like integrity<\/strong> (being honest and doing what’s right) and initiative<\/strong> (taking action without being asked). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Help others<\/strong>
    Teamwork is key. Beavers support each other and their communities, whether lending a hand to a friend or helping in a wider effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Leadership & Team Structure<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Each Beaver Colony is guided by trained adult leaders<\/strong>, with volunteers on hand to ensure everyone is supported and safe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Within the Colony, Beavers are grouped into Lodges<\/strong>\u2014smaller teams led by peer leaders (Lodge Leaders or Junior Leaders). These young leaders take on small responsibilities\u2014welcoming newcomers, leading games, or supporting during camps. Beavers remain in their Lodges for meetings and trips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Uniform<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The Beaver Uniform consists of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Polo T-shirt<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Sweatshirt<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Knecker \/ Scarf<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
